MFL03 Refrigeration Project
Electrical infrastructure for critical temperature-controlled pharmaceutical storage at Pfizer Grange Castle plant
- 2°C to 8°C chilled storage
- -20°C freezer storage
- 100% of electrical works
Site: MFL03 Warehouse Building, Pfizer Ireland Pharmaceuticals, Grange Castle International Business Park.
Brooklyn Engineering Services delivered a complete electrical installation for the MFL03 Refrigeration Project at Pfizer Ireland Pharmaceuticals, providing modern, reliable infrastructure for critical chilled and frozen storage areas.
Project Scope
- Safe removal of the existing electrical infrastructure
- New containment systems and sub-main cabling
- General electrical services and small power supplies for rapid roller doors
- Energy-efficient lighting and emergency lighting
- Fire alarm installation
Instrumentation and Control
Temperature sensors were installed within each chilled and freezer storage unit and integrated with the building monitoring and control systems.
This enables accurate monitoring and supports the continued integrity of temperature-sensitive products.
Live-Site Delivery
All works were carefully planned and executed within a live pharmaceutical environment to minimise disruption while maintaining high standards of safety, quality and regulatory compliance.
