Description: The works at Gan International Airport in the Maldives involved the complete design and build of a new AGL system along with Apron and Stand high mast lighting. These works included the installation of runway approach, centreline and elevated edge lights along with other AGL fittings. Also involved was the installation of Sub Stations, MV & LV switch gear, LV installation in the Terminal building including a new baggage handling system, and a new FID system. Also included in this project was the installation of a new VOR system. This project increased Brooklyn Engineering’s experience beyond many of its competitors and was invaluable in creating a position of expertise in the market.
